After teasing it last week, CHVRCHES‘ new single, “Over,” is here.

“We finished this song over the holidays,” the Scottish trio shares. “The way it explores themes of trying to exist in an escapist dreamscape when life is difficult felt timely so we didn’t want to wait to put it out.”

You can listen to “Over” now via digital outlets. Its accompanying video premieres Friday at 3 p.m. ET on YouTube.

“Over” follows CHVRCHES’ 2021 album, Screen Violence, which features the single “He Said She Said” and the Robert Smith collaboration “How Not to Drown.”
