The Lemonheads‘ 1993 album, Come On Feel The Lemonheads, featuring the hit “Into Your Arms,” is getting the 30th anniversary treatment.
Available for preorder now, the package is available on both vinyl and CD. In addition to the original album, it includes unreleased demos, alternative versions and rarities, including covers of Victoria Williams‘ “Frying Pan,” Buddy Holly‘s “Learning the Game” and Cole Porter‘s “Miss Otis Regrets.”
Come On Feel the Lemonheads, the band’s sixth album, was the follow-up to their 1992 breakthrough album, It’s a Shame About Ray. It features guest vocals by The Go-Go’s Belinda Carlisle and legendary funk artist Rick James. It became their highest charting album, while “Into Your Arms” topped the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart for nine weeks.
The Lemonheads’ most recent album is 2019’s Varshons II, an album of cover songs by artists ranging from John Prine, NRBQ and Yo La Tengo to The Eagles, Nick Cave and country duo Florida Georgia Line.
