Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness has released a new song called “Nobody Tells You When You’re Young.”

“‘Nobody Tells You When You’re Young’ is about how the most important lessons in life are often unteachable,” McMahon says. “Despite the best intentions of those who go before us, many of life’s most profound, thrilling, and heartbreaking moments cannot be explained or prepared for.”

The track will appear on the upcoming Wilderness album Tilt at the Wind No More, due out March 31. It also includes the previously released tunes “Stars,” “VHS,” “Built to Last,” “Lying on the Hood of Your Car” and “Skywriting.”

McMahon will launch a headlining tour in March.
